The Adelaide Speed Boat Club which was first incorporated in 1935 at Snowdens Beach on the Port River. In 1969 the club moved to its present site at the North Arm, which provides an ideal venue for Powerboat Racing and other water sport activities. In the past, the club has attracted a huge contingent of local and interstate competitors and spectators to our waters, including many State, Australian, Australasian, American and one World Champion. Within the powerboat racing fraternity, the Adelaide Speedboat Club has a reputation for quality event management and professionalism.

Adelaide United Football Club reflects Australian values promoting excellence in sport through a culture of professionalism, passion, pride, success and community spirit.

GOLDEN GROVE CENTRAL DISTRICTS BASEBALL CLUB

The Golden Grove Central Districts Baseball Club was formed in 1990 by a group of dedicated people who had the vision to realise the potential of baseball growth within the area. In 1999 the amalgamation of Golden Grove Dodgers Baseball Club and Central Districts Baseball Club formed the now present Golden Grove Central Districts Baseball Club Inc.

The Golden Grove Central Districts Baseball Club maintains a close affiliation within primary schools in the North Eastern area to foster junior participation in the sport. The club regularly has players represent South Australia at the Australian junior championships and in the past have had players selected to play for Australia. NORTH EASTERN METROSTARS FOOTBALL CLUB

The North Eastern MetroStars Football Club is a not-for-profit organisation managed by a committed group of volunteers for the benefit of their members and the local community. MetroStars joined the SA Amateur Soccer League in 1994 but quickly progressed to join the SA Soccer Federation State League competition in 1999. The club is based at the T.K Shutter reserve in the North-Eastern Adelaide suburb of Klemzig.

Funds raised through each year go towards the club’s financial commitment to; the Football Federation South Australia, purchasing the necessary equipment and material to ensure the club’s facilities are maintained to the highest possible standard; and to purchase quality player apparel and first aid equipment.

PORT ADELAIDE TENNIS CLUB

Established in 1973, the Port Adelaide Tennis Club is located on Woolnough Road, Largs Bay and offers tennis enthusiasts within the local community a friendly club environment.

With six lit, plexipaved courts, the club caters to those of all experience levels and offers both mid-week social tennis, as well as junior and senior competition. The club has an active social committee who organise fun and all inclusive social events such as quiz nights, club meal nights and presentation dinners.

ROSTREVOR OLD COLLEGIANS FOOTBALL CLUB

Established in 1974, the Rostrevor Old Collegians Football Club was created with a strong catholic tradition and recognises the importance that sporting activity plays in the development of responsible young adults. It accepts its role in providing opportunities for Rostrevor Old Collegians and other young men to enjoy the competition and camaraderie available through their participation in the game of Australian Rules football. The club’s committee is dedicated to providing the right environment and facilities for these young men to develop into healthy adults with good Christian values and a strong community spirit.
